The UWE Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) continue to work with the UWE to reduce the impact of student related anti-social behaviour on local residents within Bristol and surrounding areas.
Since September 2023 they have conducted 85 visits to students to offer advice and guidance around living in harmony with local communities.
We have seen a trend in large organised events in breach of statutory licencing requirements associated with students occurring in the Bristol area. We have worked with partner agencies and other local neighbourhood teams towards disrupting and preventing incidents of this nature.
Other agencies have also been involved, when appropriate, including the local council, waste management, Police ASB teams and police licensing departments.
