Working with local businesses to reduce shoplifting in the area

We will continue to work with businesses and shopping centres to try and reduce thefts and look to target prolific offenders by utilising ASB and civil orders.

We will conduct days of action by using high vis and plain clothes officers to identify, discourage and manage said offenders.

If you suspect shoplifting has occurred in your store, report it via online reporting system or 101. You should always call 999 if you or someone else is in immediate danger, if the crime is in progress or if the suspect is detained.
