School Patrols

The beat team will be regularly monitoring the parking issues outside of all of the schools in the North Taunton area especially during the morning and after school periods.

  • We often receive complaints of vehicles parking on the zig- zags that are located outside of the school grounds as well as the obstructions caused by vehicles stopping on junctions to drop off their children, we encourage parents to drop off their children reasonably to prevent blocking traffic such as parking further up and walking their children to the school gates.
  • We also use our Parking Buddies which are funded by the Road Safety Team to help spread the message about responsible parking, no speeding, the dangers of parking on pavements, and crossing the road safely.
