High visibility reassurance patrols – Christmas Shopping

Over the last few months we have prioritised our visibility in and around the town centre and based on the feedback you have shared, this appears to be proving positive.

We are carrying out both high visibility and plain clothes patrols, targeting those individuals that continue to target our local businesses, whilst working with businesses to try and target harden their stores.

There have been several arrests, and individuals have been remanded in custody.
