Anti Social Behaviour and Criminal Damage to Holly Court, Midsomer Norton.

There have been a number of reports of young people causing anti-social behaviour and damage to Holly Court in Midsomer Norton. Businesses within Holly Court are being significantly affected by these incidents.

  • 11 December 2024

    This priority has been reopened. Unfortunately, we have received new reports regarding anti-social behaviour and damage to shops in Holly Court. As such the team will now be focusing patrols on the area where they can and dealing with any criminal or anti-social behaviour appropriately.

    The local team want to nip this issue in the bud and will direct resources where possible.

    Please continue to report any issues to give police a full picture of the problem.

    No further reports have been received at this time and contact with people in Holly Court has been positive. As such, pending any further calls of criminal damage or anti-social behaviour, this priority will be closed. It will be reopened if we receive any further concerns.

    We encourage the public to continue to report any further issues to the police via 101 or the website, or alternatively speak to the Neighbourhood Team at our regular beat surgeries in Essence Café.

    Continuing patrols and contact with shop owners has been maintained. No further issues have been highlighted to us.

    The Neighbourhood Team will continue to monitor and work with the premise owners is ongoing.

    We encourage the public to continue to report any further issues to the police via 101 or the website, or alternatively speak to the Neighbourhood Team at our regular beat surgeries in Essence Café.

    Unfortunately, the team have been made aware of further reports. The anti-social behaviour and damage has started again, therefore this priority will be reopened.

    The team are increasing patrols in the area at the problem times and other actions are being taken behind the scenes to resolve this for the business owners within Holly Court.

    The Neighbourhood Team are in regular contact with the local businesses in Holly Court and have a bi-weekly beat surgery at the location.

    We have not been made aware of further issues recently. As such we will close this priority pending further reports.

    We will continue to show a presence both through beat surgeries and foot patrols.

    We have had no further reports of ASB and damage in Holly Court. The Neighbourhood Team continue to speak to the business owners and patrol regularly.

    We encourage the public to call the police if they witness any further issues at Holly Court.

    Patrols of Holly Court has continued to be a top priority for the Midsomer Norton Team and we have been regularly patrolling the area both during the day and night. The team have kept in regular contact with the businesses within Holly Court also.

    There have not been many further reports of the issues suffered previously, even with the February half term. The team will keep this priority at the top of their list so as it doesn’t become targeted again by this behaviour.

    The Neighbourhood Team have made this their top priority given the reports received before Christmas. We have been patrolling regularly at the problem times and been in regular contact with the business owners. From talking with all business owners in Holly Court it would appear there have been no significant incidents since before Christmas. We will continue patrols to ensure this continues and take into account the school half-term coming up in February.

    We will, of course, keep in close contact with the business owners and urge them to report any incidents to the police.

    Contact has been made with local businesses affected and regular patrols at later hours are being carried out to prevent further issues and to deal with those responsible.
