Anti-Social-Behaviour in the Derelict Factory Evercreech

Police are receiving reports of people entering the old derelict factory in Evercreech.

There are a number of reasons why you shouldn’t go into this site, which include,

 

  1. Materials containing Asbestos, open floor voids, unsafe structures.
  2. There is a real possibility that you could get trapped, and many trip hazards.
  3. Entering this site would be classed as Trespass.

 

This site is dangerous and persons should not enter for their own safety and well-being.

  • 25 July 2024

    There have been no recent reports of trespassing, patrols of the site are ongoing to deter incidents.

  • 9 June 2024

    Regular patrols of the Factory & nearby Play Park continue. There have been no recent reports of trespassing at this time.

  • 16 May 2024

    There are continued reports of youths causing ASB in & around the site. Regular patrols to monitor & identify persons responsible.

  • 18 April 2024

    We are aware discussions with local council ref development of this site is ongoing.

    There have been recent small fires set within the grounds & local youths have been dealt with. Regular patrols of the site are in place as part of the Village patrol.

  • 23 January 2024

    Systematic patrols are conducted on a regular basis including late patrols to check the boundary of the site.

    Reports of youths entering are still current. Some have been identified & warnings given.

    Regular patrols to provide reassurance to households neighbouring the site continue to help provide a deterrent to those who consider the site a play ground.
