Your Local Policing Team went into Gordano School and carried out multiple Water Safety Assemblies along with North Somerset Council, Avon Fire and The Harbour Master.

Avon and Somerset Police talked about the Anti-Social Behaviour that may occur when in large groups, and our processes when dealing with this behaviour.

The council talked about their role and processes, and the CCTV points that are monitor the incidents.

The Harbour master spoke about the different water levels and the dangers specifically in the marina.

Avon Fire spoke about water safety, and what to do if the children got into a dangerous situation in the water.

Overall, it was a very successful input to the Gordano Students. Over the summer holidays the Anti-Social Behaviour was minimal on The Marina.
