Parking

We are seeing an increase in parking issues in the area. Especially with vehicles blocking pavements and dropped curbs.

By parking your vehicle on the pavement you are forcing the elderly, children and people with prams and wheelchairs into the road and you are putting them at risk of being hit by another vehicle.

We want to remind residents that parking over dropped kerbs can result in a ticket.

Having dropped kerbs on our streets is not just essential for wheelchair and mobility scooter users, but also useful for a wide selection of people, including parents with pushchairs and older people.

Blocking these means that they may have to take a detour in order to cross on to the other side of the road or may not be able to get to where they are heading altogether.

Please be conscious of your fellow local residents when parking.
