Nuisance Electric bikes and E scooters

Electric motorbikes and E scooters being ridden illegally in an Anti Social manner around Henbury and Brentry on the roads and in open spaces.

The beat team are actively trying to engage and educate members of public to inform them of the current legislation. The neighbourhood team enforce where necessary and possible.

  We have had reports of nuisance electric scooters and mini moto style bikes on the footpath in the Tree Top Development of Brentry in the afternoon and into the evening

  The local neighbourhood team have increased cycle patrols in the area to try and deal with any offences.

  With the warmer weather we have started to see an increase in reports of the use of illegal motorbikes and illegal E bikes on local green spaces. We encourage members of public with any information on who these individuals are to report to the police.

  The local neighbourhood police team were on Crow lane educating members of public on the legislation around E scooters and the use of them on the public highway.
