VAWG, Walk and Talk

We  are inviting women to meet with female police officers and PCSOs to show them areas in which they feel vulnerable or unsafe in their local communities.

Walk and Talks are open to women aged 18 and above who wish to share their worries or concerns regarding their safety in the local area with officers.  Walk and Talk can be requested at Walk and Talk with a PCSO | Avon and Somerset Police.

PCSO’s Elaine Cave and Melanie Rowlands have been carrying out Walk and Talks with some very positive outcomes. people have said that they have raised issues of concern with police and able to show them where the issues are which is very important.
