ASB in St John’s Church Yard
The Glastonbury beat team have been made aware of ASB in the church yard, working along side the church and the council we have:-
- Increased ASB patrols to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- Collaborative efforts with the church to enhance the church yard
- Regular council updates to address any neighbourhood concerns

3 February 2025
Glastonbury Neighbourhood Officers were called to St John’s churchyard as a member of public had called in reporting seeing some males smoking cannabis. Four males were discovered at the location and all searched under S.23 powers. Cannabis from two of the males was seized and destroyed.

Officers have attended St John’s Church Drop in morning and discussed the issues with the staff at the church and the volunteers. They are aware of the problems also and will speak to those who may be involved requesting that they keep away from the church unless they are there for the services.

12 January 2025
Two persons were stop checked in the porch of St Johns Church last week and were found to be in possession of cannabis. The drugs were seized and destroyed and both parties were given cannabis warnings.
