Bike Marking Event

The theft of a bike can be both traumatic and inconvenient, the thought of someone taking your prized possession, or not being able to get to work due to the theft is something that you do not want to go through. Join PCSOs Gary and Rob on Sunday 2nd March, between 1000 – 1500 hrs, outside The Police Post in the Market Yard Car Park in Frome at the first Independent Market of the year, bring your bike with you and we will mark it using specially developed, tamper proof bar codes and place it on The National Bike Register. Making identity of your bike easier to attain if the bike is recovered by Police. It only takes a few minutes, we will photograph the bike, take details of the serial number and administer two tamper proof stickers. You will need to provide your address, email address and a contact telephone number. This service is provided completely free by Frome Neighbourhood Policing Team.
