Vulnerable Properties/Target Hardening
Although Exmoor is a relatively low crime safe area, we will be concentrating on some of our isolated/vulnerable properties over the Autumn/Winter period. Following the successful Police Posts held in some of smaller villages during the summer, we will advertise dates where we will offer crime reduction advice and cycle registering.
Anyone with a specific concern or question about their security can request contact via the Avon and Somerset website or via 101.

23 January 2025
Last week was a busy one with a visit to the Local Community Network meeting on Thursday where our PCC, Clare Moody spoke about her role and answered questions. We attend each quarterly meeting in order to meet with all our Parish Councils and discuss any issues.
On Saturday, Police posts were held in Clatworthy, Dunster and Porlock. It was good to meet our communities and some of the many visitors to the area. If you would like a Police Post held in your village, please get in touch.
