County Lines
As a neighbourhood team one of our aims is to disrupt and stop County Line drug dealing.
We do this by conducting hi-visibility patrols within the area and gather any intelligence we can which can help us again stop and disrupt County Lines.
In addition to the above, it is our aim to speak with students within local schools to make them aware of the risks associated with County Lines via our school packages.

The neighbourhood policing team are taking proactive steps in dealing with county-line activity. NPT officers have recently been working with our intel colleagues and specialist officers from ‘operation remedy’ to tackle drug crime head on; conducting warrants, stop-searches and making arrests. We have also been conducting school visits; teaching young people to recognise the signs of grooming and modern day slavery. We work closely with third party organisations, such as ‘Hidden Voices’ to raise awareness, and work towards eliminating this behaviour in our communities. We have also been carrying out sessions on Mini police to try and help the young people in schools stay out of trouble.
