Anti-Social behaviour involving nuisance Off Road Motorbikes and Quadbikes

The local neighbourhood Policing Team continue to target these areas on patrol and are keen to hear from anyone who has information regarding the riders, locations, times including video footage available of any incidents.

We have secured funding which has helped with obtaining and installing more CCTV cameras which will help us with locating and identifying offenders and locations.

The local neighbourhood Policing team are identifying hotspot areas and will be including this in their patrol plan.

To help tack Anti-Social behaviour involving nuisance Off Road Motorbikes and Quadbikes we plan to:

  • Conduct regular high visibility patrols in the area.
  • Issue Section 59 Warning and seizures where vehicles being used in a manner which causes alarm, distress, or annoyance. Where a vehicle is being used in this way, or otherwise amounts to careless or inconsiderate driving.
  • Work with partner agencies to conduct a joint approach such as North Somerset Council, Housing Associations, and other partner agencies as a long-term solution.
