Report animal abuse

Animal cruelty is when a person does not care for or deliberately causes pain or suffering to an animal.

Animal abuse includes:

  • physical violence
  • deliberate mental distress
  • neglect, for example not feeding an animal

Report animal abuse to the RSPCA

To report historic or current animal suffering visit the RSPCA website or call 0300 1234 999.

Avon and Somerset Police works with the RSPCA to investigate cases of animal cruelty.

Domestic abuse
