Teenager charged after Bristol disorder

A 16-year-old boy has been charged by detectives investigating the disorder in Bristol on Saturday 3 August.

The boy, who cannot be named because of his age, is due to appear before magistrates in Bristol this morning after he was charged with violent disorder yesterday.

He is the 31st person to be charged following last month’s disorder. A total of 44 people have been arrested and 16 have received custodial sentences for their involvement.
