Man pleads guilty to drug offences

A 22-year-old man has appeared in court charged with drug offences.

Karl Birchell, of no fixed address, appeared at North Somerset Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (cocaine and heroin) and Class B drugs (cannabis) between 3 November 2020 and 16 December 2021 in Weston-super-Mare.

He pleaded guilty and was released on unconditional bail pending a sentencing hearing at Bristol Crown Court on 17 March.
