Witnesses sought following fatal road traffic collision in Midsomer Norton

We’re appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Midsomer Norton last night.
It happened at 10.34pm in Northmead Road.
A Honda Jazz car was turning right onto the B3355 from a side road when it was in collision with an Audi A5 travelling along the B3355.
The driver of the Honda was trapped in her vehicle and sadly died at the scene shortly afterwards.
We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help our enquiries.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and remains in police custody.
