For March 2020 onwards, information on every planned protest or march (‘protest’) in your area that police have been formally made aware of including:
- Whether the protest was authorised by the police,
- The purpose or affiliation of the protest,
- The date and location of the protest,
- Whether the protest took place,

Please find attached the information that has been centrally recorded in respect of planned protests.
With regards to question one the Constabulary does not “authorise” protests. The role of the police is to facilitate peaceful protests which will include communication and negotiation with organisers.
