Crown Court Commendation

Awarded at the discretion of the trial judge in recognition of an exceptional contribution to the events or evidence played out at a particular trial. A commendation takes the form of a verbal recognition during the closing stages of a trial and followed up by a Certificate prepared by the Court for presentation.


Crown Court Commendations can be awarded to Police Officers, Police Staff, Special Constabulary and members of the public.
